    Happy birthday, Alfred!

What a silly country, you! I really like that picture to the right, though. It's so reflective of what America would do. You know if he were to fall in love with any woman, it'd be Lady Liberty. :]

I didn't really do much today. Not that I was really expecting to. A majority of my day was spent watching The Twilight Zone marathon on SciFi/SciFi HD. They always have one on Fourth of July. I played Yu-Gi-Oh! on the DS for a bit. I was totally having heart of the cards moments! Like, I'd be losing, and then I'd totally turn it around! Duuude, Yugi and Yusei would be so proud of me right about now!

My family and I did our usual steak dinner with double baked potatoes. Supa supa umai! My brother wasn't there though, since he had to work. For shame.

We didn't go to the top of the hill where Alta Vista goes down to watch the fire works this time. But my dad, sister and I did go on the top of the roof to watch' em! Dude, the view is hella nice up there! Even though I didn't get to see much since it was at night. xp It was my hajime desu te being on the roof. That's kind of lame, isn't it? The first time I've go on the roof is when I'm 17. x|

I've been hella itching to draw something lately. The thing is, I'm just too lazy to actually get out some paper and a pencil and do it! And it sucks too, because I have all these ideas I want to do. I wanted to do some Germany/Prussia loveliness, and then today I was inspired to draw some America stuff since its his birthday and all. I was thinking of drawing America doing the "Sowoneul Malhaebwa" dance for England. It's something he WOULD do. x]

By the way, I'm learning the dance! Holla! I have up to the end of the first chorus down, more or less. I'm watching these tutorial videos by this dance group called Wawa Dance School. How ironic is it that the first people to learn the entire dance and put up tutorial videos are GUYS? D: I get the dance eventually. I just need to learn how to do those intense leg spasms.

    I'm so mature. x]

I went to Plaza Bonita today with the sole intention of wanting to buy Yu-Gi-Oh! cards. XD I caught up with 5Ds at like, 1:30 this morning with my sister and Kate [in spirit].

Dude, I went to like, three different stores to find them! I first went to Comic N Stuff. They had the most cards, but none that tickled my fancy. Oh, you should have been there with me, because I was scared for my life. There I was, dressed all preppy Asian and a group of emo Hot Topic wearing comic book reading outcasts talking about Captain America. One was like, "Dude, when is Captain America going to die already!?" "Dude, when are the SAILOR SCOUTS going to die already!?" "Dude, they did die." "Oh good, 'cause Sailor Moon fucking sucks!" OH HELL NO, did you not just insult my girlfriends! I was so close to just laughing at them because I was so embarrassed for them.

But yeah, after there I went to Target and checked the shelves near the registers. Nothing! Then I pressed my luck and tried that new toy store that replaced KB. Lo and behold, they have 'em! They were behind the counter too, so I had to ask the (very cute) cashier to keep pulling tins and packets out for me. I felt so bad for her. I was even like, "I'm sorry I keep asking." She just laughed and was like, "It's okay. Slow day, it gives me something to do." I really did feel bad that she had to put up with me.

I also bought the Oracle of Ages manga at Borders, as you can see. What had happened was, my brother got me a gift card to Borders that I never used until today. I wanted to the the Majora's Mask one too, but they lacked it when I went. For shame.

But yeah, I totally reconstructed my deck with all the exciting new cards I got. It's by no means a hardcore deck, but it's composed of some of my best (and favorite) cards. That doesn't really say much, though.

    First true day of summer.

AKA, how I want to spend everyday for the next three months.

I walked to Kate's house around 11:30 or so. I skipped workshops again because summeritis has taken over my body and mind. When I got to the intersection at Division and Plaza, this Honda passed by me, and then it U-turned to pull over next to me. Surprise! It was Erwin, Cyrus and Alisha! Man, don't I run into the most random people when I'm walking places! Ran into Ralph on my way home on Monday, and my uncle on Tuesday when I was walking to school! Weeeird.

So they drove me to Kate's, since they were all headed there, anyway. Jean was already over eating. We watched a little bit of Wimbledon ("Jankovic!?") and then played Mario Party. We decided on 40 rounds, not knowing just how long that would take. And seriously, it look like, an hour to finish less than half. It was me and Jean versus Alisha and Erwin versus Kate and Cyrus versus Birdo the computer, who was totally cheating the whole time. "I like how each team has a lefty on it!" And then I liked how when it was the guys' turn, we got the soda game, because that was so appropriate! And then Erwin totally dueled against me. "It's like YU-GI-OH!" Haha, I WOULD make that comparison! Man, you guys knew it was fresh! "Heart of the cards, heart of the cards! ...AAAAGH!" "YOU DIDN'T BELIEVE HARD ENOUGH!" I didn't. D: "I play my trap card!" "No! Shit, direct attack!" I had to hand over my star chips. It was rather depressing.

At round 26, we stopped playing because we were all tired and hungry. We all decided to go to Jack in the Box, and we were all fatties. We shared one massive Fanta orgy, twelve tacos and one large order of curly fries. I really needed that moment. I need to have a day where I just go out to eat all day.

We drove back to Kate's house to figure out what to do next and to watch CNN because apparently, Michael Jackson passed away. It still hasn't hit me yet! "How did he die?" "Heart attack, apparently." "He probably went to Disneyland and saw all the kids." "Whoa... Too soon!" Alisha came back with her sister's '06 yearbook and we saw how everyone looked four years ago. We saw Alisha's secret lover Mr. Hyun, and his secret lover Ms. Kiyama. "AUGH. HE LOOKS THE SAME." And then there was Amber's secret lover, Mr. Meyer. Meyer actually had a nice candid picture in the staff section.

After some airaoke, we decided on going to Toys-R-Us for marshmallow shooters and water guns. I seriously haven't stepped in there in years! And how convenient it was that the first thing we saw when we walked in were the super soakers! We continued to play around with all the other toys. Dodgeball with the giant fuzzy balls, WALL-E with the retractable robot arms, tag on the bicycles, beating the crap out of each other with the foam swords and hammers, etc.

Erwin broke one of the foam hammers, and then one of the workers came over like, "You guys have to leave because you're wrecking all the toys." We were all like, "Oh shit!" I was so ashamed. xp Up until then, I had never been kicked out anywhere before in my life. "This is my HAJIME DESU TE." But at least we didn't steal anything or we weren't messing around with other people... since we were pretty much the only ones in the whole freakin' store! That guy was trippin'. "I bet they're going to photograph us and put the pictures on the windows saying don't let these kids in!" "Let's go to another Toys-R-Us where we can get kicked out of!" "Not when they're probably calling the other branches like, "Don't let these six kids in... One had glasses, another has tails..." "One almost looks like a BLACK GIRL." "FUCK YOU!"

We went to two different Ralph's trying to find ice blocks to go ice blocking, but we were unsuccessful. So what had happened was, we just went back to Kate's. Lucky accidentally escaped, so we had to go chase him down. I liked how it took six teenageers to catch a dog the size of a little stuffed animal, too. I finally got him, and we all went back inside to play catchphrase. "Okay... Uh, this guy goes like this and skeet comes out of his mouth." "Spiderman! ...Wait, his MOUTH!" "Alisha, will you blank my blank?" "TOSS MY SALAD!? ...Ride my pony!?" "Teens use this--" "Condoms?" "Mr. Irving is a--" "Black man." Oooh man.

Cyrus and Erwin left around eight, and Alisha left soon after Goody and Steven came over for a little bit while we were all looking though Kate's elementary and middle school pictures. Jean left around 9:30, and then I left at 9:45. The end.

When I got home, I checked my SAT subject results because Steven told me they came in today.

    Literature: 560
    US history: 630
    World history: 560

That's a whole lot better than I thought I would do considering I kinda BSed my way through a good portion through all three. Especially the US and world history parts! I thought I didn't do as well on them because the SATs were so far after the AP test, and I what I remembered from world and AP Euro three and two years ago wasn't really on the world history test because a lot of it were ancient cultures, and I studied all that in seventh grade. xp I'm really proud of myself. My composite score is a whole lot better than my reasoning was, at least. :]

My mom came home from Canada around eleven. Welcome home. We finally have food now. :)

    Enjoy Life and Smile.

    First week of summer.

So ends the first week of summer!

Yesterday was the beginning of workshops for AP art history. There were a lot of people there! I was surprised, because the entire room was filled (like, 40+ people) and less than half that number showed up to the meeting. Bergberg and Grahamgraham are entertaining.

Oh yeah, I got my two new best friends at the library.

My textbook for APAH and summer homework for AP psychology. I actually can't wait to do the psychology outlines... I just forgot what they were. I'm pretty sure it's chapters one and two. At least I don't have to outline the art history book. That freakin' bible, while it's super interesting, is ridiculous.

Kate came over around three for a Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's marathon. Holla! Amine with Ben & Jerry's Strawberry Cheesecake and extra butter popcorn, holla! We were so ugly while watching it. "Watch the way he holds that card!" "That's not the only thing he uses those two fingers for!" "He needs 'em to stretch out Jack. He's like, 'Jack, I need to do this or else it won't fit!'" XD She left around nine, and then he totally did a fanfiction exchange. Teeheehee!

Oh yeah, she gave me a supa supa kawaii scroll of Sora from Kingdom Hearts II eating a popsicle. "That's what best friends do!" "Why were the foods afraid to go in the fridge? ...Because the milk went bad!"

Today we actually got started learning stuff in art history. Assyrians and Akkadians and everything. I got sleepy during the second half, and then I had to walk home. When I got home, I watched the Avatar marathon on Nicktoons. Fell asleep during half of it, then woke up for the last two episodes.

On a closing note, the side of my right eye burns.

    Enjoy Life and Smile.

    DUDE!

I just woke up from the trippiest dream EVER!

So like, I was drove to this cafe, right? It's this hella awesome cafe that I always go on about wanting to have as a little hang out with my close friends (but not when all these Morse heads show up, but oh, we'll get to that part soon).

When I walked in, Jean and some other girl who I'm forgetting (I wanna say it was Kate, but I could be lying) who were sitting at a table, and I sat at a table like, right behind them, and then we all started talking. And then Boy Band comes in and sits at a booth together on the other side of the cafe, and then a whole bunch of '09 kids come and sit at a table together on the other side of the room. The popular '10 kids (most of which from Bell. Surprise, surprise). And then a horde of '10 kids came in and RIGHT WHEN I was about to change seats to sit with Jean and Kate, they ALL sit down at the surrounding tables near them and guess who takes the LAST seat, which was the one I was about to take.

    Michael Wadell.

OH HELL NO. I was SO pissed off at him. I was like, you need to go somewhere! And I was standing up and he say down as if he didn't see me, and I could hear people from the Boy Band and '09 tables snickering at me and I was so embarrassed like no joke. And the '10 kids (I might as well just call them Bell kids since that's who they all were) all started talking and laughing like I wasn't there and Michael was doing his obnoxious loud laughing.

That's when I was like, fuck it, and then I just walked out, not making eye contact with anyone. I walked up to my van (every time I drive in my dreams, I'm driving a van, which is weird since we don't even own a van) and get in and turn on the engine. And then I see Jules walking past my window to her car in her PROM DRESS. I'm like, "Hi, Jules!" And she's like, "Hey, Josh!"

Then when I pull into reverse and about to drive out of a parking lot, there's an ICEBERG like right in front of me and then the guy on the radio is like, "ICEBERG, RIGHT AHEAD!" And that's when I woke up.

THE FUHHHHHH!??! I know, it's like, one of the most random dreams I've ever had! (by the way, I'm watching the episode of Degrassi when Spinner and Marco find out Dyllan is gay and Spinner's like, "EW!" when he sees him checking out guys and finds out Marco is gay for Dyllan, and it is hilarious).

Nevermind, I just remembered. The person with Jean wasn't Kate. It was Michael Manglicmot.

But yeah, I think the three morals of the dream is that I actually have very few friends in my own graduating class than I thought I did because they're all people I can't stand, judging from how all the '10 kids I saw were people I hate and refuse to make friends with because they're all so annoying. The second moral is that Michael Wadell is turning even my dream life into an FML.

The third is that I've watched Titanic WAY too much.

    Enjoy Life and Smile.
